Week 1: June 24th – 28th, 2024

LOFT Kids are Planting Seeds for a Fun Summer

Kids will explore themes related to planting seeds, nourishing something so that it grows & flourishes, waiting for growth, lessons from nature, and more!

Week 2: August 12th – 16th, 2024

LOFT Kids Venture Around the World

Join us for adventures around the world – from the rainforests to the reefs, from the Serengeti to the Arctic Tundra! We’ll learn about animals, olympics, and kids around the world!

Why choose yoga camp?

Our community is a safe, accepting, non-judgemental environment where ALL are truly welcome. We teach kids, in a fun & engaging way, about the yogic themes of kindness (towards ourselves, others, & the Earth), gratitude, unity, non-judgement, and joy. No previous yoga experience is required. All are welcome!

Cami really enjoyed the camp! Between the yoga, story time, and crafts she loved it all!”

Director of Teacher Training & Family Programming at The Yoga Loft, Larissa has been practicing yoga for 22 years. She took her first class, while fulfilling a gym requirement in college. Then she became hooked — not just by the physical practice, but also with the way yoga helped her body, mind and soul feel both on and off the mat. In addition to being certified with 500 hours of Advanced Yoga Teacher Training, Larissa completed a 95 Hour YTT with ChildLight Education Company and Yoga 4 Classrooms, as well as a Yoga for Diverse Abilities Training. She has been teaching yoga & mindfulness to kids for 9+ years.

Megan discovered yoga in 2006 as an acting intern after graduating from Bloomsburg University with a degree in Theatre Arts. She’s been studying yoga ever since and has been a professional yoga teacher since 2008, teaching students of all ages – from 6 week old babies to students in their 70s! Megan is co-owner of ChildLight Education Company and facilitates their Yoga for Babies & Toddlers Teacher Training. Megan is also a certified doula.

Currently serving as the studio’s Assistant Director, Lori contributes to the studio’s leadership & community in many ways. In addition to her professional & yoga endeavors, Lori has been a nurturing presence in the lives of children for her whole adult life. She not only raised her own children, but also played an active role in the well-being and growth of many children through her in-home childcare business – which she ran for 27 years. Lori also assists in our toddler yoga classes at The Yoga Loft.
